The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited online registration for 26,146 General Duty (GD) Constable posts. The recruitment will be for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. All interested and eligible candidates can register through the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in.

A total of 26146 posts will be filled by the organisation through this recruitment drive. The last date to pay the online application fee is January 1, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should have passed the Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognised Board or University.
Age Limit
The candidates applying for the posts should be between 18 to 23 years of age as on January 1, 2024.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on the performance in Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination and Document Verification.
Application Fees
The SSC GD Constable online application fees can be paid through online payment modes, including Visa/Mastercard/Maestro/RuPay Credit or Debit cards, BHIM UPI, Net Banking or through SBI Challan. All general candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 100/-. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) are exempted from paying any application fee.
