Indian Coast Guard will recruit for 46 Assistant Commandant posts from September 1.
Indian Coast Guard has released a notification to recruit for Assistant Commandant posts. All interested and eligible candidate can submit their application on the official website of the Indian Coast Guard at joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in.
There is a total of 46 Assistant Commandant posts. The application process will start on September 1, and the last date to apply for the post is September 15.

- General Duty (GD) – 25 posts
- Tech – 20 posts
- Law – 1 post
Payment of Examination Fees
All the candidates, except SC/ST, have to pay an examination fee of Rs 250. The payment should be made online using net banking, Credit or debit card, or UPI in the following cards: Visa, Master Card, Maestro, & RuPay.
Selection Process
The candidate will be selected based on the all-India order of merit, which involves checking candidates’ performance through various stages of examination and the no. of recruitment for the post. To get recruited in ICG, candidates need to clear Stages I, II, III, IV and V. Candidates need to submit biometrics, photo identification and document verification during the various stages of the exam.
Candidates who have passed Class 12th / degree from a recognised University / Institute can apply for the posts. The age limit is different for different posts. For the details of education qualification and eligibility criteria, candidates can check through the official notification.
