The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has invited online applications for 70 Assistant Commandant posts under the 2025 batch. All interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts through the official website of the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) at joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in.
The online registration process starts on February 19, 2024, and will conclude on March 6, 2024.
A total of 70 posts will be filled by the organization in different disciplines, including General Duty (GD), Technical (Mechanical) and Technical (Electrical/Electronics).
Vacancy Details
- General Duty (GD) – 50 posts
- Tech (Engg/ Elect) – 20 posts
Age Limit
To apply for the posts, candidates should be between 21 and 25 years of age as of July 1, 2024.
Selection Process
The selection of Assistant Commandants posts will be based on the all India order of merit test, which includes five stages of merit tests: Computerised Cognitive Battery Test (CCBT) and Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP&DT), Psychological Test, Group Task and Interview (Personality test), Documents Verification, and medical examination. The online test will contain 100 MCQ-type questions carrying 4 marks for each correct answer. There will be a negative marking for incorrect answers.
Application Fee
All the candidates (except SC/ST category candidates who are exempted from paying any application fee) are required to pay Rs. 300/- through online mode using Visa/Master/Maestro/RuPay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI. For details, candidates should check the official website of the Indian Coast Guard.
