RRB is inviting RPF vacancies for both RPF SI and RPF Constable posts. The last date to apply for the position is May 14.
The application correction window will be available from May 15 to May 24, 2024.
The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released two notifications for the Indian Railways. The recruitment is for 452 Sub-Inspector (Executive) and 4,208 Constable (Executive) vacancies in the Railway Protection Special Force of Indian Railway. The application begins on April 15, 2024, and will be concluded on May 14, 2024. The application process is available on the official website of the respective RRBs.
RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
The candidates need to appear for a computer-based test. Then the candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT). At the final stage, a Physical Test and Document Verification will be done.
RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: Age Limit
Candidates applying for the Constable (Executive) vacancies should be within the age range of 18 to 28 years as of July 1, 2024. For the SI vacancies, the age requirement is between 20 and 28 years as of the specified cut-off date.
A one-time relaxation of 3 years will be applicable in the age limit beyond the prescribed limit due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
There will further upper age limit applicable for reserve category candidates.
RRB RPF Notification 2024: Educational qualifications
Candidates who applying for the Constable vacancies should have passed Class 10 from a recognised university or board. To apply for the SI vacancies candidates should have a graduation degree from a recognised university or board.
In the official notifications it is clearly mentioned that candidates should have their qualification results to apply for the posts. And appearing candidates are not eligible for apply.
RRB RPF Notification 2024: Application fees
To apply for the posts the candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs. 500 except for SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates, for whom the fee is ₹250.
As per the official notification, a part of the application fee will be returned after appearing in the computer-based test (CBT).
